Earnest Lee Peavy , age 86, passed away in Snyder on Saturday, September 1st, 2018.

Family visitation is planned for Thursday, September 6th, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Reid officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Snyder Cemetery.

Mr. Peavy was born on March 8th, 1932 in Smithdale, Mississippi to Willie and Leotis (Wells) Peavy. He was retired from Wilson Motors’ Paint & Body Department with over 20 years of service. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, and playing dominoes. Above all, Earnest enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a Mason and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Nathaniel Peavy, Edward Earl and Tommy Peavy; Daughter, Angela Biggers and Brother, Floyd Peavy.
